Job Context:
WhiteShell Limited, a well-established company located in Gulshan, is actively looking for qualified individuals to fill the position of Manager – Accounts & Finance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish and execute robust financial systems, controls, and measurement processes to maintain fiscal integrity and ensure timely, accurate financial and management reporting.
- Continuously review work practices and procedures to enhance operational efficiency, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues in accounts, financial processes, and controls, with prompt management attention.
- Lead and coordinate the annual budget planning process, prioritizing initiatives that align with the company's short and long-term objectives.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and reports for internal and external audits, including monthly, quarterly, and half-yearly management and statutory accounts.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of corporate tax, income tax, VAT, the latest accounting laws, procedures, and the Company Act.
- Ensure prompt and accurate tax and VAT deductions from various sources, promptly deposited with the relevant government authority, and timely submission of VAT returns, reports, and documentation.
- Foster and manage strong relationships with banking partners while undertaking bank reconciliations for all accounts.
- Act as the main point of contact for auditors, bankers, external advisors, investors, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor stock status, cash book, physical cash, challans, and cash summary.
- Supervise the maintenance of various vouchers and petty cash statements for head offices and branches.
- Track invoices/bills for customers, ensuring prompt payments and efficient collections.
- Facilitate payments through meticulous documentation and disbursement requests.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting, invoicing, cash management, and internal financial reporting.
- Monitor sales revenue collection across various channels, including online payments, cash, and cheques.
- Conduct thorough cost analysis and implement strategies to maximize product margins.
- Provide valuable support in profitability analysis, product pricing, project costing, budgeting, and MIS reporting.
- Demonstrate expertise in Import LC and related loan accounts, managing banking, export, import-related documents, procedures, and customs.
- Develop and implement periodic financial budgets with effective budgetary control.
- Reconcile daily/monthly collection statements and maintain accurate cash and bank balances.
- Proactively contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments.
- Maintain a transparent status of accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements based on organizational needs.
- Fulfill any additional duties as directed by the management.

Educational Requirements:
- Minimum Masters/MBA Degree in Accounting/Finance.
- ICAB/ACCA/ICMAB (Qualified or Part Qualified) will be given preference.
Experience Requirements:
